How satisfied are you with this reply? Ml have been working at this nrg mp 161 l for about 15 hours straight with no luck. If you have, then a workaround might be to scan to a USB memory stick or an SDHC card and transfer it to your MacBook the old fashioned way if the printer has that capability?

I can’t find any official Ricoh forums, but there do seem to be some unofficial forums. Nrg mp 161 l for marking this as the answer. Basically when I select STMP settings on my printer and click test connection, with my current settings k port I am able to get it to say “Connection to PC successful” whereas before I was not.

I called my ISP and they said that they do have both 25 and blocked. Otherwise I would just do that. Also, because its a mac it also wont let me SMB with my computer credentials neg just put the scan straight on my computer.
